It’s another day of great action on ITV and Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of outsiders. He has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds on Sunday. Adrian is in cracking form and had provided followers with 22/1 & 14/1 winners recently.
It was heartache for the Gosdens on Saturday as Field Of Gold came up just short in the 2,000 Guineas but the stable could get a nice winner in Sunday’s opener with Life Is Beautiful (14/1). The Night of Thunder filly looked very smart when landing a maiden over 1m at Kempton on debut in November before finishing second at the same venue last month. She might be second string on jockey bookings but a big run is anticipated.
Hollie Doyle is in great form in the saddle at the moment and she will take the ride on Cavern Club (16/1) for trainer James Owen. This dual-purpose performer won a Doncaster handicap hurdle in March and although proved to be very disappointing at Thirsk two weeks ago back on the Flat, he was sent off favourite for the race. He’s well worth another chance here to show what he’s made of.
Chantilly Lace (25/1) is a dark horse for the 1,000 Guineas and isn’t to be underestimated. The expensive yearling is a half-sister to the very classy Ten Sovereigns but she has plenty of stamina on the dam side who was a winner over 1m2f. She was sent off a strong favourite on her debut at Salisbury in October and won readily. She doesn’t have too much hype surrounding her but that’s good as it forms the price.
