Previous course form is always a handy advantage to have, as finding winners is never an easy task. Horses tend to perform better at certain tracks than others so it’s important to bear that in mind. We’ve got you covered at Punchestown on Wednesday so here are three horses with proven records that are entitled to go well once again. They combine to form a juicy treble and we also have free tips for every race at Punchestown on Wednesday here.
Familiar Dreams (9/1, bet365) needs to find some improvement at this level but there could well be more to come from this lightly raced hurdler. She has won two of her three starts at Punchestown and she beat a subsequent winner when getting off the mark in a maiden hurdle here. Gordon Elliott’s mare is a Grade 3 winner with just four hurdles starts to her name and a big run can’t be ruled out.
Bambino Fever (11/8, bet365) remains unbeaten in three bumper starts and that includes the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham. Willie Mullins’ five-year-old won here on New Years’ Eve and she looks very hard to oppose. Jody Townsend retains the ride, having won on her at Cheltenham, and she’s undoubtedly the one to beat.
Spillane’s Tower (5/2, bet365) has never run a bad race at Punchestown, winning three times and finishing second twice in his five starts. He split Fact To File and Galopin Des Champs in the John Durkan here in December and should be going close on that evidence. Having also won a Grade 1 novice chase over course and distance last term, there are few negatives attached to this horse.
